The blurb for this Motorcycle Live show says "Where modern motorcycling comes alive" – yeah, but for years now Motorcycle Live has had a bigger and bigger classic showing and following and we love it. As one of the cornerstones of the modern motorcycling calendar, you’ll see all the normal ‘hot-poop’ latest motorcycles with all the gizmos you could point a sharpened stick at, but thankfully you will also see a burgeoning classic presence.
For example, At last year Motorcycle Live, Suzuki GB fired up a number of classic RG race bikes and the smell and sound was simply amazing. They also built up a Suzuki TL1000S on their Vintage Parts stand over the duration of the show and we will be following this year’s great event where – to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the GSX-R750 family – they will be building up an original slab-sider during the show. Check out next issue for more details on that one.
Suzuki will also be having a display of some of the finest examples of the GSX-R breed from all capacities on their stand. So don’t miss that. Our friends at the National Motorcycle Museum who are literally based over the road will be providing their own unique ‘hands-on’ display where British motorcycling literally will come to life.
Add into the mix celebs at the show including our own James Whitham and Steve Parrish on the main stage holding regular quizzes, Q&A sessions and the like and you really can’t miss it.
