New Read

A buddy from across the pond just sent me a bunch of these to read and drool upon ....
Cool shit ...,

Thanks Wes....

.. btw, before I forget ...

Got two new 'read' from M , woohooo ...

"Don't ask any old bloke ..." tells how P.G.Tenzing, an IAS officer who dumped his cream-of-the-crop job, after 20 years, to do what he always wanted to do — get on his bike and kick off to a quirky ride across the country.
Tenzing took about a year to complete his journey. It was his way of reclaiming his freedom from the fetters of a job he “was never cut out for”. Criss-crossing through almost all the States and Union Territories, “without a pre-planned route or direction”, he traversed 25,320 kms. On the way, he encountered “numerous waiters and mechanics — fleeting human interactions and connections that seemed pre-ordained.” ..

.. and the other one is this, the sequel to 'By Any Means' ..

.. thanks M.

Look What I've Got ...

I've got a new book..
Someone went abroad recently and bought this one for me.
That's a very nice thought of you..
Thanks M.

I have gotta catch up on my reading of all the other books that just arrived too ....

...too many books, too little time ...

Look what's in the delivery ...

Peter Egan :
Leanings 2 - done,
Side-Glances - No,

Kevin Cameroon
Top Dead Center - No

Those are from my previous delivery ..

... and now came another two ...

Hell's Angel - Hunter S. Thompson
- about the wild-style of the infamous biker gang - Hell's Angel

China Road - Rob Gifford
- a journey into China where he met with all-walks-of-life ....

Look what's in the delivery again ...

After much anticipation, here comes what I wanted. They arrived at the right time as I've finished up my Leanings 1. So here are they, books from my fav 'real' writer Mr Egan and The tech-guru, Kevin Cameron. I am gonna have 'good' time in that fav chair of mine ...

Here We come.., On the Road Again ..

Another few more days to the road-trip that everybody is waiting for. The anticipation, the preparations, the purchasing, the accessorise-ing, the ebay-ing, the upgrading has all now comes to an end (for now).
While I am here sittin' and typin' this with a fag dangling in between my lips, I believe some of them out there are still polishing and preppin' their bikes for the big day.

The group is gettin' bigger. It used to be only a handful of donkeys in it. Then there is a herd of buffaloes tag along > Then there are those occasional cows and moose that comes and goes.

Handful of Donkeys + Buffaloes Herd = Language Complications.

therefore:
Language Complications + The Occasional Cows and Moose = Bigger Complications.
Bigger Complications = Conflicts = Competitions = A lot of suggestion (relevant & irrelevant)

Riding buddies are hard to come by, I meant those who are level-headed, same frequencies, those who really enjoy bikes kinda riding buddies.
So whats the fuss and who needs all these complications?

Forget about all issues, its not important at all. Grab your jackets, put on that pair of gloves, start that bike and have a good ride boys!!

..or maybe .. Long Way Down ..??

Another Book to Read ..., I know they showed it on TV too.., but as I mentioned in my previous post.., Don't watch it until you've read the book. I did just that. Finished up the book then only pop in the DVD. In fact I've got the DVD before I get the book, but been holding till I've finished reading. Good Read.

Gotta be like ... Long Way Round ??

I believe many of you has seen this on TV, but to be in more details of the actual trip.., the book is unbeatable. It covered more details of the actual trip, the tension, the agony, the nearly giving up moment, the 'why' am i doing this moment ... I must have at least read it twice and now it is safely and neatly sitting on my book shelves.
Give it a shot.., Buy it ... Good Stuff.
And by the way.., is our up-coming road trip gonna be like long way round?.. I don't think so .. heh.

Leanings - The Best
