It's been very regular for a few of us doing the 'KLM-run' ...
.. brought the 'Project Retro' out..., 


 .. meet up 0530hrs, 
... usual, top-of the bridge ..,
.. on-time.., push on ...


.. but today.., some super heroes join up with me ....,

Rage against the machine II

An 'SOS' text has been sent out, 
wanna test run 'Project Retro', the 32years 'machine' for a 300kms 'run, on it's reliability and to check for hiccup ...


.. meeting point will be 0530hrs on top of a familiar fly-over, feel free to tag along ...


- some buddies 'heard' it and show up earlier,.. waiting ...before the sunrise...


- we ride on, with sun rising at our back -

Project Retro - Scrap Cap to cover

Its been a while, here's another update on the project. After the chop-chop and a dozen or so of anti-coro, found a pair of scrap-cap from one of the many storage-toolbox. Out came the files and file them to fit and cover up the open and exposed rear end of the frame to tidy them up.

Project Retro - Anti:Coro

It's been sometime since I last update on project retro, here is a few pics showing the rear section that has been chop chop cut cut. For the time being, some anti corrosive material has been sprayed on to prevent any corrosion. Sprayed heavily from the opening to inside the frame and the exposed area. [ cardboard is to prevent a shakin' smoker's hand from overspray]

Project Retro - Tail Gone

Both side ~ Off Out Chop Gone 3.5" ... Now I need some Sh^t to cover-up the holes.., dont wanna weld them shut .., Just need something to finish it 'cleaner'..

Project Retro - Chop Chop

Tins, fenders, panels has been dismantle from the 'retro'. It's a code -'P' bike, so its a single seater with nothing for a pillion, not even rear pegs. I have found the rear portion of the frame is long and ugly. ... after some thinking.., grinder out, marked the frame ... chop chop , cut cut ...

Shorten the rear section by 3.5" ... Its so solid..., it took a few 'round blade' to chop them off!

Project Retro - Stripped Down

.. as mentioned in my previous post, I did mentioned of taking up another project. Well, here it is.., the 'Project Retro".

Stripped down work started. Taking off the tank, fenders, panels and most important.., those stupids tour boxes at the rear section of the bike.
